Coming into God's Presence with Swept Away Guilt.

It is about one thirty in the morning, April 3, 2010.

Yesterday was Good Friday, and tomorrow it will be Easter.

This night I was crying out to God, and I saw myself come before  Him with all my guilt swept away.

I knew suddenly that the guilt that I feel makes me want to be distant from God, and in my own mind keeps me from Him, and the words came:

The Swept Away Guilt of God's Presence.

I knew suddenly that that meant the actions of Jesus have swept away the guilt that keeps me from God.  The closeness became overwhelming.

Prayer.

Father, we come into Your Presence with all our guilt swept away, because of the actions of your son, Jesus the Christ.

Let us walk fully with you in all circumstances, in all states of mind or of health, from this day onward, in Jesus Name, Amen.
