a time of quiet getting away, I say

testimony about today at the end.

I took the phone number off the card in the picture, for internet publishing.

This is my buddy, whom I will miss from Dobbins Mill Pond.

I call him Sancho Panza, from Don Quixote's pal.  (Panza means "belly" in Espanol)

He is a Chinese Swan Goose, who stays at the pond.

above are from where I have been getting all the waterfowl pictures.

They have now posted it No Trespassing.  So I went back to my first hiking place...

Wide angle close-up makes my feet look smaller, and my legs look bigger.

I swear it does.   This is sitting down, by the way.  Something I did several times on this short walk.

I believe that to be Wild Ginger Plant, and I don't know if that is it's flower.

Looks like something has taken the tip of the heart shaped leaf for  a meal.

Goose Feather Pond   -  comes from the fact that in the early years of hiking here I would often find the feathers

of the Geese, though I seldom saw them.  Last year I spent a couple of months with an entire herd of Canada

Geese, on this pond.  Not so much, this year.

Above is not from the park, but from the front area of a local medical facility.  After having not been in the park proper, for a while, and not walking there for half-a-year, I went at a leading of the Holy Spirit.

I had asked Him what to do when they posted the Dobbins Mill Pond, where many recent pictures came from.

I was tired on the short walk at Yadkin Park and stopped several times, particularly at the end, at Goose Feather Pond.   A lady I never talked to before, who had seen me in the park, last year, came up along side me and started fishing.

I "felt led" to ask her what she does, and it turns out she works at a local medical facility.   Upshot is that they have programs for limited income people like myself,  and I started the paper work for them to treat me, an hour later.

The VA has helped me as much as they can, but it may be that they are be "missing something."   The Lord got me out to exercise and provided me with further medical treatment.   Pause, and calmly think of that.

This has been interlude, page 3.

Now you know the end of my day, that I did not when the pictures above started.  The walk

had scared me a little, and made me think something still might be wrong with me..

" For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for evil, to

give you a future and a hope.  In those days when you pray, I will listen.   You will find me when

you seek me, if you look for me in earnest."  (Jer 29:11- 13 TLB)
