Nice looking duck. I would guess that it is half normal Mallard and the other half the shiny Mallard breed known as a "Cayuga Duck."

Curioser and Curioser -  I was just joking on the phone about my deceased mother sending me a duck.   The Cayuga Duck gets its name from being popularized on the lake my mother grew up on, in New York State..- link to Frances' Duck

What is curios is that I found it to be a possible hybrid with the Cayuga after naming the duck Frances' Duck.
