No one has yet given me an identification for this multi-colored duck. Web research showed me that there are a lot of hybrid ducks, and particularly Mallard hybrids. These may be basically Mallard colors, but the form is not right, and he is way darker. I am naming this Frances' Duck, in honor of my mother, Frances F Phillips, who loved all ducks.
