best shot I have of flying Heron, above

yep, that is a Mallard

Above shows a Goose doing a Goose Step. That is where the get the name from. Above and below are Broken Wing, the Goose, (my name for him.) took me a while to understand that one out of the many had a broken wing, and was hanging around. His left wing has been shredded at the tip. Only has limited flight. He got to know me, and came close, as I was there every day in February. (Most days now.) As he accepted me, the small group around him did, and real reason I can get among them to get pictures.

Actually, was taking pictures of Squirrels and Chipmunks, and the anointing ran out, and the Lord said we were going to be taking another tack. The Holy Spirit led me to the other side of the Park, overlooking the pond I called Goose Feather, in some earlier writings. Got these from the front seat of my truck.

Above four pictures I took that day, and drawing that resulted. Bird with visible feather is Broken Wing. Drawing led to more drawing, and Mom's drawings and paintings being turned into cards. Painting first study of Broken Wing became card, by itself. One of my best efforts.
I like the image of a bird with broken wing, being healed.

the end for now.
through DVD four of seven, pre my Birthday, 2009
not quite the end- yesterday

got that one- missed the next, which came first in day. Bird like to chase each other, two came after this one, about four feet from me, on the bank. Best escape would have been in my direction, and he got in a tizzy. Figured it out by jumping into the water. Missed the shots.

missed pic forced me into drawing. have a lot of blocked out paintings. only draw when serious, like starting painting. other seems a waste.
count eighteen or nineteen such canvases, looking at my studio, adjoining my office. you should see how small this is.
leading I get from the LORD is not to worry about them. leave them for later. Drawing has gotten better, over time.
guess if you spend as much time as I do with Geese, you realize how to draw them.
I do remember when I used to paint a lot, you would run through one, and be looking around for some other subject to work on.
Painting takes so long, you want subjects you are actually interested in. Got a few.
Photos for me started as studies for paintings, but really, really got big. Also leading into card business, and maybe separate photo sales. Time will tell, or the LORD will.
gotta fly the son is coming up
