These last few really thrill me. Closest yet of this timid bird. Too bad these are lowered resolution.
Have cropped the above the horizontal way and it makes a good picture.
I sincerely hope you have enjoyed seeing these.
Note on the truck as a blind. I have found many animals will let me take their picture as I sit
in my truck. At the pond, the nose of my truck actually sits about due West, with the side
at right angles to the pond.
For the closest pictures, and this is why I say the Heron has accepted me,
I step out of the truck, proper.
