the first two are the ones the bookmarks were taken from
some of these images have been interpreted elsewhere, and there are other cards done in a manner like these are. This represents my starting to put them into a separate section. Paul.
internet images are are not as sharply focused as the four fold cards are
the effect is somewhat diminished on the internet, but i sure like these images. Started out to try to be a painter years ago, but somehow gave it up. Picture taking, or picture making as they say in North Carolina was started anew as studies for paintings, with great success, last year. - Great success as to the amount of really surprising pictures I have gotten - by the Grace of God. Now, these same pictures are going towards a full circle, and look like any image I would have been proud to paint.
Side note, this is late on a Saturday night, in North Carolina, and this coming Monday, noon, they are going to finally take a close look at my heart, at the VA hospital. I have had a great inability to do much, but my own artwork has cheered me up. Paul.
I also did some printmaking, back in Art School, and I think the four fold cards are both an out-cropping of that, and a melding of all the kinds of image making I have been fortunate to do. These images are my photographs, and I have digitally manipulated them within the computer. There is some hand work done, ( rather hand-on-mouse and working within the computer-picture), but you will not see it, unless I point it out. ( After a while, I won't even see it.)
